Matej Ihelka

Matej Ihelka has over a decade of experience in project management and operational excellence, currently serving as Project Manager for Operational Excellence of Logistics at Slovnaft since February 2013. In this role, Matej focuses on optimizing resources and reducing logistics volume discrepancies across various transport methods. Previous positions at Slovnaft include Project Manager of Process Improvement, LEAN Navigator, and Operation Support Officer in the HR Development Department, where skills in Lean Six Sigma and training administration were developed. Prior experience includes roles at Accenture in HR Operations and Accounts Payable, as well as sales and customer service positions at Downtown Backpacker’s Hostel and Centrum Holdings. Matej holds a Master's degree in Management from the Faculty of Management at Comenius University in Bratislava.
