Vojtech Merva

Vojtech Merva is an accomplished professional in the field of process safety and technology management, currently serving as the Head of the Technology Department at Slovnaft since May 2023. With extensive experience, Vojtech has held significant roles including Head of MOL Group Process and Fire Safety, overseeing safety programs across several countries and business sectors within the MOL Group. Prior to that, Vojtech was the PSM Chief Coordinator at INA - Industrija nafte, where the DuPont-based Process Safety Management system was implemented in Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. Vojtech's career began as a Process Engineer at Slovnaft, progressing through various leadership roles focused on continuous improvement and technology integration. Vojtech holds a Master's degree in Chemical and Food Technology from Slovak Technical University.
