Janice Lee Lazaro Nieto has a wide range of work experience. Janice Lee began their career in 2005 as an Academic Coach at John Muir Middle School, where they worked with teachers and students to achieve regional recognition as a model school for the AVID Program. Janice Lee also tutored students struggling with assignments and lessons in a wide range of curricula. In 2006, they became a Staff Writer/Reporter for The Pioneer Newspaper & The Bay Today Magazine. A year later, in 2007, they took on a similar role at the San Leandro Times, where they wrote weekly articles featuring local outdoor activities, restaurants, and businesses. Janice Lee also interviewed and photographed San Leandro residents and business owners for feature stories, as well as surveyed local residents for opinion features. In 2009, they became a Public Relations Representative for ABSOLUTELY AUDREY. Two years later, in 2011, they became an Office Coordinator at Better World Music School. In 2017, they began working as an Actor/Model for MDT Agency, Inc. In 2018, they became an Executive Assistant at Spark Capital. Finally, in 2020, they began working as an Executive Assistant/Operations Assistant/Office Manager at Slow Ventures, where they are responsible for calendar management to coordinate internal and external meetings on behalf of partners, assisting in the management of the operations process, and office management. Additionally, they are a Singer/Songwriter for Get It Done Music/LAB HITS/SoStereo.
Janice Lee Lazaro Nieto holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Mass Communication/Media Studies (option in Journalism) from California State University - East Bay. Janice Lee also holds a Private Equity and Venture Capital certification from Universit\u00e0 Bocconi, obtained in June 2021, as well as a PR For The People Program Certificate from PapaLoDown Agency, obtained in December 2020.
