Stephen Brown

Stephen Brown is currently the Principal Consultant at SLR Brown Consulting. Stephen has extensive experience in technology and product transformation, having served as the Technology / Product Transformation Leader at NCR Corporation from October 2018 to March 2020. In this role, they led a $60 million multi-year initiative to deliver a portfolio of new products and services, reduce complexity, and improve performance management. Stephen also drove customer escalations, technology commitments, and executive presentations on progress.

Prior to their work at NCR Corporation, Stephen Brown served as the Transformation Delivery Executive at Cox Automotive Inc. from January 2009 to September 2017. In this role, they were responsible for leading software program management in the hospitality and travel division. Stephen also drove strategic planning across product and engineering teams as a trusted advisor to both teams.

Before joining Cox Automotive Inc., Stephen Brown served as the Market Research & Investment Leader for North America & Asia at Autotrader US from January 2001 to January 2007. In this role, they were responsible for conducting market research and making investment decisions for the company.

Stephen Brown has an MBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School in Global Business, and they have also completed the Leading Strategic Growth Executive Program at Columbia Business School. Stephen has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.
