Andrea Baker

Andrea Baker is an accomplished geochemist with extensive experience in water quality modeling and risk assessments in the mining sector, currently serving as an Associate Geochemist at SLR Consulting since April 2020. Previously, Andrea held a Postdoctoral Research Fellow position at Stellenbosch University, focusing on environmental and stable isotope geochemistry. Additionally, Andrea has a solid foundation in project management from early career roles in facilitation and facilities management, including work for GlaxoSmithKline Pharma GmbH. Andrea holds a Ph.D. in Organic Geochemistry and has been recognized for excellence with awards such as the GSK Spirit Award for Performance with Integrity.
