George Watts has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. George currently serves as the Director of Project Management - Central Region at SLS Consultants, responsible for ensuring timely and budget-conscious construction results for existing clients and acquiring new clients in various sectors. Prior to this, they were a Board Member at CMAA North Texas Chapter. George also worked at HPM as a Program Director, where they played a key role in client service, account management, and overseeing the company's Western Region projects. George founded their own consulting firm, WATTS.Consulting, LLC, where they led large-scale commercial building projects and implemented LEAN and Integrated Project Delivery methods to save clients on construction costs and compress schedules. George also served as the Principal at KLMK Group and as an Executive at Linbeck Group, LLC, where they managed consulting engagements, business goals, and revenue growth. Earlier in their career, George held leadership positions at CHI and Bank of America.

George Watts, CCM, LEED AP obtained a BBA degree in Finance and Economics from Stephen F. Austin State University in 1982. George also attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1977 to 1980, focusing on Civil Engineering. In 2024, they are expected to complete a Master of Science degree in Construction Management/Business from the University of Oklahoma. Additionally, George has acquired various certifications throughout their career, including CCM from the Construction Management Association of America and LEED AP, BD+C from the U.S. Green Building Council.
