David Cannon

David Cannon has over 29 years of work experience, with a focus on service management and operational excellence. David currently serves as Founding Director at SyneXeos, a company focused on promoting continuous renewal and reimagining for thriving in ever-changing economies. David also serves as Chief Strategist at SLVA Cybersecurity. David previously worked as Executive Vice President and Operational Excellence lead at nfiniti3, where they helped clients to access and analyze data resources for achieving organizational objectives. David has also worked in senior leadership roles at Forrester, BMC Software, Hewlett-Packard, and Foster-Melliar, and served as Chairman of the International Executive Board at itSMF. David holds a proven track record of driving innovation, building scalable solutions, and ensuring client success in IT service management and operational excellence.

David Cannon studied at the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, where they earned a BA in Industrial Sociology and Psychology. David also obtained a Diploma in Business Leadership from the same university. In 1993, David earned a Manager's Certificate in IT Service Management at the Information Systems Examination Board. Additionally, they obtained SFIA Training - Foundation Level certification from SFIA Foundation in September 2022.
