Yang Cao

Yang Cao is a Senior Performance Engineer with experience at several prominent companies. They started their career at IBM Canada as an Advisory IT Specialist from October 2000 to October 2005. They then worked at Aviva Canada Inc as a Senior Performance and Capacity Engineer from 2006 to November 2014. In 2015, they joined Gilead Sciences as a Senior Performance Engineer, where they developed and implemented test strategies, analyzed system and application performance, and conducted performance testing using various tools. In 2015, they also worked at Apple Inc. as a Senior Performance Engineer. From 2016 to 2017, they worked at OpenText as a Senior SaaS Performance Engineer. In 2017, they joined Tesla as a Senior Performance Engineer for a brief period from March to May. From August 2017 to October 2020, they worked at Salesforce as a Senior Software Engineer. Most recently, in March 2021, they joined Slync.io as a Senior Performance Engineer.

Yang Cao holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Beijing Jiaotong University. Prior to this, Yang also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from the same university. In addition to their formal education, Yang has also obtained several certifications, including IBM AIX System Administration, IBM AIX System support, IBM WebSphere Advance Admin Expert, Microsoft Professional, and SEGUE SilkPerformer SCSE.
