Akinfolami Akintunji

Akinfolami (Flo) Akintunji is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in production and operations within the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as a Production Engineering Supervisor at SM Energy Company since April 2022, Akinfolami previously held roles as a Senior Production Engineer and Operations & Production Engineer at Unitex Oil & Gas, overseeing approximately 700 wells in the Permian Basin. Akinfolami's prior experience includes designing and implementing drilling and production programs at Tradition Resources Operating, analyzing reservoir properties at Atinum E&P Inc., and conducting research at the University of Texas at Austin. Akinfolami holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, a Master's in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Houston, and an MBA in Energy Business from UT Permian Basin.
