Kara Miracle

Kara Miracle is a seasoned environmental air specialist with extensive experience in air permitting and compliance within the oil and gas sector. Currently serving as a Sr. Environmental Air Specialist at SM Energy Company since December 2023, Kara previously held the role of Managing Consultant at ERM, leading air compliance initiatives for upstream oil and gas producers in Midland and supporting various clients in Texas. Earlier career experience includes positions at Environmental Operational Solutions as an Environmental Consultant, overseeing compliance for gas processing plants, as well as at Sage Environmental Consulting, Sport Environmental Services, and McClinton Energy Group, focusing on air quality, emission reporting, and environmental safety. Kara holds a Bachelor of Science in Geography with a concentration in Resource and Environmental Studies from Texas State University and an Associate of Arts in Design and Visual Communications from South Plains College.
