Katie Anderson

Katie Anderson, CTP has over 16 years of work experience in the financial industry. Katie started their career at Wells Fargo Bank in 2004 as a Credit Manager, where they mastered consumer lending and adapted to changing industry conditions. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Relationship Associate, supporting Relationship Managers and cross-selling treasury management products. In 2010, they joined SM Energy Company as a Treasury Analyst, responsible for daily cash record keeping, maintaining relationships with financial institutions, and analyzing bank fees for cost savings. Katie then progressed to the role of Senior Treasury Analyst, where they managed the company's interest rate and commodity price risk management activities, as well as the credit review process for product purchasers. In their most recent position as Lead Financial Analyst - Treasury, they continued to oversee risk management activities, executed commodity hedge trades, managed the company's credit review process, and reviewed and monitored the treasury department's G&A budget.

Katie Anderson, CTP earned a Bachelor's degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of Northern Colorado in 2004. In 2013, they also obtained the certification of Certified Treasury Professional from the Association for Financial Professionals.
