Renzo Morante Pmp

Renzo Morante, PMP, CEM has extensive experience in project management and operations within the energy and engineering industries. Renzo started their career as a Project Superintendent at Dynaram Construction, where they oversaw the installation of electrical systems for various government projects. Renzo then moved on to become a Project Manager/Quality Control Manager, responsible for managing construction projects and subcontractors.

In 2009, Renzo joined 2M Engineering Corp as the Director of Operations, where they managed the overall construction development of projects and served as the main liaison between the company, clients, and inspectors.

Since 2012, Renzo has been with SMA America, a global specialist in photovoltaics. Renzo initially joined as a Project Manager III, overseeing project delivery and working with key accounts both domestically and internationally. Renzo then progressed to become the Manager of the Project Management Division, where they led a team of project managers and was responsible for project execution, client relations, strategic planning, and budgeting. Recently, Renzo has taken on the role of Head of Customer Project Management for North America at SMA America.

Throughout their career, Renzo has demonstrated a strong track record in delivering projects successfully and improving process efficiency. Renzo holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Energy Manager (CEM).

Renzo Morante, PMP, CEM, has a strong academic background and numerous certifications. Renzo obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de Lima, where they studied from 1995 to 2000. In 2008, they earned a certificate in Construction Management from the University of California, Davis. Additionally, in 2013, they obtained a Master's Degree in Engineering Management from the University of Louisville.

In terms of certifications, Renzo holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, which they acquired in November 2012. Renzo is also a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), a qualification awarded to him in August 2017 by the Association of Energy Engineers. Renzo possesses several other certifications, including Advance PV System Design (obtained in August 2013 from Imagine Solar), Six Sigma (obtained in September 2012 from Expert Rating), Concrete Field Testing Technician - Grade I (obtained in June 2010 from the American Concrete Institute), and General Building License "B" and General Engineering License "A" (both obtained in February 2008). Furthermore, they have certifications in areas such as Construction Safety and Health (30-hour) from OSHA (obtained in September 2007), C-10 Electrical License (acquired in March 2007), Real Estate Salesperson License from the California Department of Real Estate (obtained in April 2004), Construction Quality Management for Contractors from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (obtained in March 2004), and Confined Space - Competent Person (obtained in March 2003).
