Sven B. has a diverse background in various industries. Sven started their career in 2009 as a Research Assistant at Commerzbank AG and then worked as an Equity Analyst at Kalliwoda Research from 2011 to 2012. Sven later joined Deutsche Bank as a Finance & Accounting Consultant from 2013 to 2014. In 2014, Sven joined SMA Solar Technology AG, where they held multiple roles including Market Intelligence Analyst, Investor Relations Analyst, Corporate Finance Analyst, and Head of Digital Operations. Sven also worked on various projects such as M&A deals, restructuring, and business planning. Sven then founded and served as the Managing Director of emerce GmbH and emerce Africa Pty. Ltd. from 2018 to 2021, which were corporate start-ups of SMA Technology AG. Prior to their current role, they were a Senior Strategic Manager at SMA Solar Technology AG, focusing on vertical expansion of the company's offerings and evaluating profitability potentials. In 2022, Sven joined SMA America as the Director of Business Development, where they are responsible for strategic business development and developing partnerships in the areas of solar, storage, and electric charging solutions.
