Rhonda Harvey has a strong work experience in the healthcare industry. Rhonda started their career at SMA Behavioral Health in 1994 as the Vice President of Residential and Crisis Services, a position they held for over 20 years until 2015. In 2015, they joined Stewart Marchman Act Behavioral Healthcare (SMA) as the Chief Operating Officer. After four years, they moved to SMA Healthcare in 2019 to continue their role as the Chief Operating Officer.

Rhonda Harvey completed their education at the University of Louisville, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Biology/Biological Sciences from 1982 to 1986. Afterward, they pursued further education at the Louis D. Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville, earning a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree in Law from 1986 to 1989.
