Florian Bechtold

Florian Bechtold serves as the Executive Vice President for Business Segment Large Scale & Project Solutions at SMA Solar Technology AG, where responsibilities include leading the project business with P&L oversight for a globally recognized company in photovoltaic, storage, and hydrogen solutions. As a member of the Group Executive Committee since January 2023, Florian has also held positions such as Head of Product Group Power Conversion, overseeing the strategy and product roadmap for utility-scale offerings, and Global Commodity Manager, focusing on strategic purchasing across multiple regions. Prior experience includes roles as a Strategic Buyer at Linde Material Handling, KION Group Material Handling Solutions, and The Linde Group. Florian holds a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering from Hochschule Mannheim and a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from Berufsakademie Stuttgart.
