Sebastian Lepies has extensive experience in compliance and risk management, currently serving as Head of Group Compliance at SMA Solar Technology AG since August 2011, where responsibilities include overseeing the Compliance Management System, Risk Management System, and Internal Control System. Prior roles at SMA included leading compliance and labor relations initiatives, developing the global compliance framework, and coordinating complex projects associated with finance, personnel, and legal matters. Before joining SMA, Sebastian worked at NextPharma as a Personalreferent, focusing on recruitment, strategic HR projects, and collaboration with labor unions. Sebastian holds a Dipl. Sozialwirt from The University of Göttingen and a Certified Compliance Expert degree from Steinbeis Hochschule.
