Heather Rose

Heather Rose has extensive work experience in various roles related to software engineering, design, and management. Heather is currently working at SMA Technologies as a Software Engineering Manager, starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GSFSGroup as a Software Development Manager from June 2019 to October 2022. From February 2014 to June 2019, they worked at Contract Land Staff as a UX/UI Designer and Software Developer. Heather also has experience as an Owner/Founder of Dream It Graphics, where they handled marketing, client consultation, and design work from 2001 to 2019. Other positions they held include Director of Front End Web Development/UI Development at HKS Media Group from January 2013 to February 2014, Digital UI Consultant & Front-End Developer as a Consultant from May 2011 to February 2013, and Interactive UI Director at eWayDirect from April 2011 to February 2013. Heather has also worked as a Web Site Manager at Mechanicville Express Newspaper and Senior Art Director at Town of Halfmoon from 2008 to 2011. Additionally, they served as an Art Director at Oswegonian Weekly Newspaper from 2001 to 2006.

Heather Rose obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Graphic Communications from the State University of New York at Oswego, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. Following this, they pursued further education and earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Computer and Information Sciences and Support Services from Hudson Valley Community College, studying there from 2008 to 2009.
