Daniel Lopez

Daniel Lopez is a Mechanical Design Engineer at SMAC Moving Coil Actuators since December 2017, specializing in brushless motor development and collaborating with R&D engineers to create and enhance actuator designs for improved performance and quality. Prior to this role, Daniel worked as a conventional machinist and CNC mill machinist at various companies, including R & G Precision Machining and Nordson ASYMTEK, where responsibilities included setting up tooling, programs, and running production. Additional experience includes positions as a screw machinist at Precision One Medical, machine operator at Alphatec Spine, and tool maker at Lisi Medical, contributing to surgical implant manufacturing and tool design. Daniel holds an Associate's Degree in Computer Drafting & Design from ITT-Tech and a high school diploma from Rancho Buena Vista High School.
