M.D. Mohiuddin Sohel

Md. Mohiuddin Sohel is an experienced professional in the fields of technology, journalism, and education, currently serving as a part-time lecturer in the Journalism & Media Studies Department at Jahangirnagar University since September 2014, alongside roles as a technical trainer at the Small and Medium Enterprise Foundation since May 2019, and previously as Lead Product & Technology at CHORKI from November 2021 to May 2023. With a strong background in digital technology and product management, Mohiuddin held various positions at Prothom Alo from July 2013 to October 2021, where responsibilities included project management, digital strategy planning, and the development of online news platforms. Early career experience includes guest instructor roles at the University of Dhaka, software engineering at multiple firms, and teaching web programming languages. Mohiuddin holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science & Engineering from United International University.
