Ryan Erickson

Ryan "LEAFF" Erickson is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in both military and civilian sectors. Currently serving as a project manager at Small Business Consulting Corporation since January 2024, Ryan focuses on strengthening the Department of Defense through the rapid integration and transition of innovative solutions. Previously, Ryan held a project management role at the United States Air Force, overseeing policy and guidance for the AFSPECWAR community and executing sUAS exceptions to policy. At AFWERX, Ryan managed a portfolio of small business contracts totaling $162 million, ensuring compliance with SBIR policy. Earlier roles included leadership as a Superintendent in the United States Air Force and operational experience as a JTAC Weapons Officer in the Texas Air National Guard. Ryan's foundational career featured critical support as a flight crew member, ensuring secure communications for U.S. government leaders. Educational qualifications include associate degrees in Strategic Operations and Management Information Systems from the Community College of the Air Force.
