Brian Pifer

Brian Pifer has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Brian started their career at Santa Cruz Sentinel in 2006, where they served as Assistant Copy Desk Chief until August 2010. Brian then became Copy Desk Chief until August 2013.

In 2013, they joined Digital First Media as NorCal Design Center Director, a role they held until March 2015.

Since March 2015, Brian has been working at Small Business Majority, starting as Grants Manager until November 2016. Brian then became Director of Entrepreneurship until January 2018, after which they were promoted to Vice President, Entrepreneurship. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Programs & Research, which they started in June 2021.

Brian Pifer attended the University of California, Santa Cruz from 1999 to 2003. During this time, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Literature with a focus on Modern Literature.
