Antti Paikkala

Head of Marketing at Small Giant Games

Antti Paikkala has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Antti started their career as a Back Office Coordinator at Xerox in 2011, where they were responsible for day-to-day office operations and communication with suppliers and customers. In 2012, they worked as a Financial Trainee at Xerox, focusing on finance department tasks such as SAP R/3 operations management and invoicing.

In 2012, Antti joined Rovio Entertainment Corporation as a Business Analyst, Consumer Products, where they analyzed consumer trends and contributed to the company's strategic decision-making. Antti later transitioned to the role of User Acquisition Manager, taking charge of performance marketing and cross-promotion for various titles, including Angry Birds Blast and Battle Bay. Antti also managed cross-promotion for the entire Rovio app portfolio, leading to revenue opportunities and reduced churn.

In 2016, Antti co-founded UA Society, showcasing their entrepreneurial skills. The following year, they joined Small Giant Games as a Performance Marketing Lead, overseeing their marketing efforts and contributing to the company's success. Recently, in August 2021, they were promoted to the role of Head of Marketing at Small Giant Games, where they continue to make valuable contributions to the company's growth and success.

Antti Paikkala began their education in 2004 at Järvenpään lukio, where they completed their secondary education. In 2009, they enrolled at Helsinki Metropolia University of Applied Sciences, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in International Business & Logistics. Antti completed their degree in 2013. In 2012, Antti had the opportunity to participate in an ERASMUS exchange program at Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal. This exchange lasted for one year.
