Moataz Elmakkwy

Moataz Elmakkwy has had a diverse range of work experience throughout their career. Moataz currently holds the role of Senior IT Operations Specialist at Smallpdf, where they handle internal support incidents and change requests, administers and improves the Google Workspace environment, and enhances reporting of back-office IT systems, among other responsibilities.

Prior to their current role, Moataz worked as an ICT & eLearning Coordinator at Gouna Technical Nursing Institute, where they managed passive networking infrastructure, implemented and managed HP servers, and configured Cisco and Quanta switches.

Before that, Moataz served as an ICT Specialist at Nile Egyptian Schools, where they handled network infrastructure planning, implemented Cisco Unified Call Manager and wireless solutions, configured Juniper switches and firewalls, and managed IBM blade servers.

Moataz also gained experience as a Second Line Technical Support at Vodafone UK and as a Computer Science Instructor and ICT Specialist at AMIDEAST. Moataz started their career as an ICT Officer at El Temsah Ship Building & Repair Company.

Moataz Elmakkwy completed their Bachelor's Degree in Arts from Menia University, from the year 2010 to 2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Computer Science from Misr For Studies Institute, spanning from 2002 to 2005. Moataz completed their secondary education at El Khalil Bin Ahmed Secondary School in the UAE, from 2000 to 2001. In addition to their formal education, Moataz has obtained several certifications including VCE Certified Converged Infrastructure Associate (VCE-CIA) from VCE in January 2015, ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification in December 2013, MCITP 2008 (Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional) from Microsoft in August 2008, MCSE 2003 (Microsoft Certified System Engineer) from Microsoft in May 2007, and Cisco Certified Network Associate Industrial (CCNA I) from Cisco in March 2006.
