Nicolas Brichler

Nicolas Brichler has over 7 years of work experience in various data science and machine learning roles. Nicolas is currently working as a Senior Data Scientist at Smallpdf. Prior to that, they worked at Grab as a Senior Data Scientist, where they focused on operational marketing and promotion campaigns using machine learning models. Nicolas developed and managed end-to-end machine learning pipelines on large-scale datasets. Before Grab, Nicolas worked at Solvay as a Data Scientist, leading various data science projects and proof of concepts in areas such as natural language processing, object detection, and time series analysis. Nicolas also worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and as a research intern at Orange. Additionally, they have experience as a risk analyst at Le Conservateur. Nicolas is skilled in machine learning, data processing, feature engineering, and model training and evaluation.

Nicolas Brichler obtained a Master's degree in Applied mathematics, Computer science, and Engineering from École Polytechnique between 2013 and 2017. Nicolas also pursued further education at Université Paris-Saclay from 2016 to 2017, earning a Master of Science (MS) degree in Probability theory and Statistics. Prior to that, they completed preparatory courses in Mathematics, physics, and computer science at Lycée Stanislas from 2011 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Nicolas Brichler has obtained a certification in Data Engineering, Big Data, and Machine Learning on GCP from Coursera in June 2020.
