Pau R.

Pau R. is currently working at Smallpdf as a Staff Data Scientist since January 2022. Prior to this, from January 2021 to January 2022, Pau held the position of Senior Data Scientist at the same company. Pau's previous role was as a Data Scientist at Smallpdf from May 2020 to January 2021. Before joining Smallpdf, Pau worked as a Data Scientist at FAST TRACK from September 2018 to May 2020. Prior to their career in data science, Pau was a self-employed Professional Poker Player from September 2009 to August 2017.

Pau R. started their education in 2005 at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, where they pursued a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Pau completed the program in 2009. In the same year, they also obtained an Engineer's Degree from the Engineering College of Aarhus, specializing in Mechanical Engineering.

In 2009, Pau R. continued their academic journey at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, this time pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA). Pau successfully completed the program in 2011.

Later, in 2017, Pau R. attended the IE School of Science and Technology, where they pursued a Master's degree in Business Analytics & Big Data. Pau completed the program in 2018.

Aside from their formal education, Pau R. has also obtained additional certifications. In 2012, they received a PADI Advanced Diver certification from PADI. In 2016, they obtained two verified certificates from edX, one for Developing SQL Databases and another for Creating Programmatic SQL Database Objects. In 2018, they acquired an Extreme Gradient Boosting with XGBoost certification from DataCamp.
