Radek Palisa

Radek Palisa is a Senior Frontend Engineer at Smallpdf, starting in July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Kiwi.com from August 2018 to May 2022 as a Frontend Software Engineer, where they were responsible for frontend development, building UIs using Kiwi's design system, and maintaining a Node.js GraphQL API gateway. From July 2017 to August 2018, Radek worked at eBay as a Web Developer, where they created landing pages, collaborated with planners and campaign managers, and provided UX and technical feasibility consulting. Radek also has experience as a Frontend Developer at Alensa, s.r.o. from September 2016 to June 2017, and as a Web Developer at Auto Caravan Sport s.r.o. from April 2016 to June 2016. Prior to their career in web development, Radek worked as an HR Data Management Associate at SAP from February 2015 to March 2016, and as a Project Management Intern at the Greek Council for Refugees from October 2013 to January 2014.

Radek Palisa has a Bachelor's Degree in Development Economics and International Development from Mendel University in Brno, which they obtained from 2009 to 2014. In 2016, they attended Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon and was awarded a Certificate of Attendance for Modern Greek Language and Literature. In 2012, they also briefly studied at FH Burgenland and Fachhochschule des BFI Wien, but no specific degree or field of study is mentioned for these institutions. Radek Palisa also had a short-term study experience at the University of Ghana in 2011, focusing on Development Economics and International Development.
