Kristof Steurbaut

Kristof Steurbaut is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in the healthcare sector, currently serving at Smals since August 2013, where responsibilities include overseeing projects that enhance information management for public institutions. Previously, Kristof was an Information Systems Support Officer at the European Commission, contributing to the Erasmus+ project for the DG Education and Culture. Prior to that, Kristof worked as an Assistant and Senior Researcher at Ghent University, focusing on internet-based communication networks and services, and began as a Junior Researcher involved in IBBT projects. Kristof holds a PhD in Computer Science from Ghent University, complemented by a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, alongside additional education from Vlerick Business School and Het Perspectief PCVO.
