Derek Chan

Derek Chan currently holds the position of Director Data Center Vertical for Asia-Pacific at Smardt, Inc. since June 2022. Previously, Derek served as the Director of Sales for Asia Pacific at Wesco Anixter and held various roles at Johnson Controls, including Senior Manager for Enterprise Accounts and Regional Manager for Strategic Accounts focused on the Data Center and Technology sectors. Prior experience includes APAC Program Manager at CBRE for Microsoft Data Center, Senior Manager of Business Development and Global Accounts at Convergint Asia Pacific, and roles in project management and marketing at Access People and Containers Printers. Derek's career commenced in law enforcement with the Singapore Police Force, where duties included service at the Special Operations Command. Educational credentials include attendance at Edith Cowan University and completion of training at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in 2015.
