Sigrid Martín Heredia has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as the Chief Operating Officer at Smarkia since 2023. Prior to this, they worked at STRATESYS from 2022 until 2023, where they held a position in Project Management - Telecommunications.

From 2020 to 2022, Sigrid was the Director of Operations Division B2C Telco at DOMINION GLOBAL. In this role, they implemented and scaled the Operations BackOffice service, reaching a target of 100K clients in the first year and 400K clients in three years. Sigrid also recovered €2M from the income account by implementing the Business Assurance area to execute claims for erroneous pricing, ensuring compliance with commercial agreements.

Before that, Sigrid worked at Phone House España starting from 2006. During their time there, they held multiple roles, including IT Project Manager, RPA Responsible, Operational Sales Responsible and Loss Prevention Manager, and Procurement Manager. As the IT Project Manager, they successfully implemented new management systems within a 14-month deadline after the sale of the Carphone Warehouse subsidiary. As the RPA Responsible, they automated the process of activating customer connections, resulting in a €1M reduction in human errors. As the Operational Sales Responsible and Loss Prevention Manager, they reduced margin erosion due to stock management and loss by €1.4M (10%) and cash loss by 30% annually. As the Procurement Manager, they achieved €1M savings on a €3M budget for headquarters relocation and reduced costs of recurring contracts by 10%.

Earlier in their career, Sigrid worked as the Facilities Manager at Ahold from 2001 to 2006, where they achieved €700K in travel cost savings. Sigrid also worked as a KAM Corporate Accounts at Meliá Hotels International in 2001 and as a Commercial Executive at Buscard from 1999 to 2001.

Sigrid Martín Heredia attended the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid from 1995 to 1999, where they obtained a Diplomatura in Administración y Gestión Hotelera. In 1998, they also completed a program at Hampstead School in London, earning an LCCI for Tourism from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry, specifically in English.
