Dawn Thompson

Dawn Thompson (PhD) currently serves as Senior Data Science Manager at Smarsh, leading a team focused on production ML delivery projects while emphasizing client success and data-driven results. Previously, Dawn held various roles at Citi, including Quantitative Analyst VP, where models were developed to detect market abuse behaviors, and at Kingspan Insulated Panels, where responsibilities included R&D of insulation products. Dawn obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from Queen's University Belfast, specializing in renewable energy efficiency, and has a strong background in chemical engineering principles, further enhanced through roles as a teaching assistant and STEM ambassador.
