Ian Marsh

Ian Marsh has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ian is currently working as a Principal Platform Engineer at Smarsh since February 2019. Prior to that, they served as a Support Manager at Speechmatics from February 2017 to December 2018. Before that, Ian worked at Nokia (formerly Alcatel-Lucent, Velocix) as a NOC Manager from May 2011 to June 2016. Ian also worked as a TMC Shift Supervisor at TalkTalk Technology from August 2005 to April 2011. Ian has experience as an Internet Operations Engineer (UNIX) at Siemens Business Services (Media) from March 2005 to August 2005, and as a Systems Administrator at Tollon from August 2003 to March 2005. Lastly, they held various roles at Global Crossing, including European IP Addressing Manager, Senior Internet Systems Engineer, Internet Systems Engineer, and Technical Support Engineer, from April 1997 to August 2002.

Ian Marsh has a Higher National Diploma in Computing from The Open University.
