Alexey Kovrizhnykh

Alexey Kovrizhnykh is an experienced IT professional with a comprehensive background in network management and infrastructure oversight. Currently serving as the Head of Infrastructure at Smart Axiata since May 2011, Alexey leads a team of 12 engineers, focusing on corporate remote access, infrastructure network management, and disaster recovery solutions, among other responsibilities. Previous roles include Head of IT Infrastructure, where management expanded to 22 engineers, and IT Manager overseeing an 8-engineer team. Notable achievements include receiving the Axiata award for best cost savings in 2017 and implementing a geo disaster recovery project. Prior experience includes senior IT management at Teliasonera Eurasia and technical roles at KazTransCom and Ducat ISP.
