Ziad Shatara

Ziad Shatara is an experienced executive in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as Chief Executive Officer at Smart Axiata since January 2023. Prior to this role, Ziad held the position of CEO at Umniah from December 2015 to January 2023 and was the Chief Executive Officer at banglalink from January 2013 to November 2015. Ziad also worked as Chief Technology Officer at wind tre from January 2008 to December 2012. Ziad Shatara holds a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Budapest University of Technology and Economics, earned between 1985 and 1991.
