Robert Baker

Robert Baker is currently an Associate at Smart & Biggar, a position held since September 2021, following an Articling Student role with the same firm from August 2020 to May 2021. Prior experience at Smart & Biggar/Fetherstonhaugh includes two Summer Law Student positions from May 2018 to August 2019. Robert's technical background includes internships at Apple, where contributions were made to the development of multi-touch technologies, and at NVIDIA, where new GPU chip features were validated. Additionally, experience as an Automation Programmer at Ontario Die International involved the development of software for cutting die design and manufacturing. Early career experience includes a role as a Programmer Analyst at Cineplex Entertainment. Robert holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto, complemented by a Master of Applied Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the same institution and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
