Phil Zito

Phil Zito is the Chief Executive Officer of Smart Buildings Academy since November 2017, providing online training to over 13,000 students. Prior to this role, Phil held multiple positions at Johnson Controls from August 2008 to November 2017 and worked as a Programmer at Convergint Technologies from January 2007 to August 2008. Phil also served in the US Navy as Lead Petty Officer from January 2002 to January 2007. Phil holds a Master of Science in Cyber Defense and a Master's degree in Information Systems from Dakota State University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Business Studies from Dallas Baptist University.
