Floyd T. Feather began their career in 2004 as an Account Manager, Wholesale Markets at PAETEC Communications. In this role, they coordinated and implemented all aspects of T1/T3 ordering within PAETEC's Reseller Wholesale sales, built and groomed the customer base, and ensured client retention through relationship development and world-class customer service. Floyd T. also managed all orders for complex PRI voice, T1 data, multi-node MPLS networks, and large reconfigurations, ensuring cost control and quality on all orders.
In 2009, Floyd moved to the Wyoming County Sheriff's Office as the 911 Coordinator and Communications Division Head. There, they led the management and operations of the county's 911 PSAP, managed a three-position computer aided dispatching network, and ensured reliability of a 6-tower simulcast radio communication system.
In 2010, Floyd joined MASS Communications as the Director of Client Solutions. Floyd T. used a consultative sales approach to provide communications solutions to companies across an assigned territory through channel partner relationships. Floyd T. was also responsible for overseeing all pricing and margin analysis to ensure all proposals being presented across the organization were profitable and correct.
In 2018, Floyd moved to Windstream Enterprise as the Account Director - Resale Enterprise. Floyd T. was chosen to stay on board after Windstream acquired MASS Communications to sell a mix of traditional carrier services including voice, data and fiber optics, as well as SD-WAN, managed services, and hosted voice to commercial customers. Floyd T. built and maintained enduring relationships with channel partners to provide voice and data connectivity, software, and managed services to commercial customers with multiple sites.
Finally, in 2020, Floyd joined Smart Choice Communications as the Senior Director of Client Solutions and Director of Client Solutions. Floyd T. empowered teams with Smart Choice Communications' all in one solution and their commitment to support 24x7x365 with their U.
