Martin Suter

Martin Suter has an extensive work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Martin currently serves as the Chief Product Officer at Smart Communications since February 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of SVP of Product at the same company from February 2022 to February 2023. Before joining Smart Communications, Martin worked as the Chief Product Officer at Assentis from February 2021 to February 2022. Prior to Assentis, they worked at Assentis Technologies AG as the Chief Product Officer from November 2013 to February 2022. Martin also held the position of Product Manager at Assentis Technologies AG from May to November 2013. Martin started their career at Assentis Technologies AG as a Senior Consultant from January 2009 to April 2013. Before that, they worked as a Software Developer and Product Consultant from January 2006 to December 2008, and as a Project Manager and Product Consultant from February to May 2008. Prior to their roles at Assentis, Martin served as the CEO of DigitalSky from November 2001 to December 2005.

Martin Suter has a Diploma of Engineering in Informationstechnologie from ZHAW - Zürcher Hochschule für Angewandte Wissenschaft, which they obtained from 2001 to 2005. Additionally, they completed an apprenticeship as an Elektroniker at Siemens Metering AG from 1997 to 2001. Martin has also obtained several certifications, including Product Focus Certified Product Manager in 2016 and PRINCE2 ® Foundation in 2013.
