Cheryl MacKinac

Cheryl Mackinac is a seasoned financial professional with extensive experience in financial accounting and control. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Financial Accounting and Control at Smart Data Solutions since November 2021, Cheryl previously worked as a Finance Consultant from February 2020 to August 2021, leading FP&A processes for an S/4 SAP implementation. Cheryl's career at Thomson Reuters spanned over a decade, where key roles included Senior Director of Finance and Director of Finance, focusing on Free Cash Flow management, working capital metrics, and financial reporting. Earlier positions at Imation and 3M involved external reporting, European consolidation, and financial analysis, underpinning a strong foundation in accounting and finance. Cheryl holds an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the UMN Carlson School of Management and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Minnesota State University, Mankato.
