Treg Gilstorf

Treg Gilstorf is the current Chief Operating Officer at Smart Data. Treg has held this position since January of 2013, and has been with the company for nine years. Prior to their current role, Gilstorf served as the Chief Information Officer at Yaskawa Motoman from January 2011 to December 2012. In this role, they were responsible for providing executive leadership and direction for the organization’s technology strategy and initiatives. This included developing and implementing IT initiatives that improved the company's efficiency, productivity and customer satisfaction, both globally and within the company's business groups. As a member of the executive team, Gilstorf's duties included developing and executing strategic plans; establishing IT policies, standards and practices; managing business partnerships with the company's business groups; improving business processes through the development and deployment of state-of-the-art technology; developing and maintaining the enterprise systems architecture; and managing the annual operating and capital budgets for IT.

Gilstorf began their career in 1992 as a Director at Duke Energy. Treg remained in this role for 14 years before being promoted to Director at Luxottica in 2006. Treg held this position for five years before being recruited by Fifth Third in 2011 to serve as their Vice President. Gilstorf remained with Fifth Third for two years before being recruited by Smart Data to serve as their COO in 2013.

Treg Gilstorf's educational career includes a Master of Business Administration from Indiana University - Kelley School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Systems from Taylor University. Treg also holds a certification from the Project Management Institute as a Project Management Professional.
