David Hunt

David Hunt has a strong background in economic regulation and policy. David began their career at Ofgem in 2001, where they held various roles including Head of Retail Market Functioning and Senior Manager in Electricity Transmission Policy. In 2013, Hunt became the Policy Director at Monitor. David then moved on to Which? in 2015, where they served as Interim Head of Regulated Utilities Policy. That same year, they joined the Office of Rail and Road as Head of Economics and Policy. Currently, Hunt is the Head of Economic Regulation at Smart DCC.

David Hunt completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics at the University of Leicester from 1996 to 1999. David then pursued further education and obtained their Master of Science degree in Economic Regulation and Competition (part-time) from City, University of London between 2003 and 2005.
