Steve Cooper has extensive experience in management and intelligence analysis, currently serving as the People Planning & Reporting Manager and Business Manager at Smart DCC since June 2020. Prior to this role, Steve held various senior positions at the Department for Work and Pensions, including Operational Intelligence Unit Manager, where two teams of Intelligence Gathering Officers were managed, and Team Leader for a National team of 17 Criminal Intelligence Analysts focused on Serious & Organised Crime Investigations. Steve's career in the Civil Service includes diverse roles aimed at professional development, such as leading the rollout of Universal Credit and coordinating recruitment for the Marks & Spencer distribution centre in Castle Donington.
