Neal Sims

Neal Sims is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in strategic leadership and business development. Currently serving as Chief Operating Officer and Commercial Director at SmartDesign Group since 2008, Neal oversees the company's commercial strategy, business development, client relations, and marketing functions, while also leading global design studio, HR, and finance operations. Previously, as Director of Business Development at Smart Food Service from January 2021 to October 2023, Neal was instrumental in driving growth in foodservice consulting and design across Western Canada, establishing the company as an industry leader. Neal holds an MBA in Business Administration from Laurentian University/Université Laurentienne, earned between 2009 and 2011.
