Timo Platt started their work experience at IBM in 1997, where they served as a Problem Manager. In this role, they were responsible for coordinating major incidents in the network area and acted as the central escalation point for helpdesk, technical support, and 2nd and 3rd level teams. Timo also handled the problem management processes, conducted employee training, and oversaw company, SLA, and network performance reporting.
In 1999, Timo joined AT&T as a Business Intelligence Specialist. In this position, they managed projects on a global level, overseeing the development and implementation of a combined Microsoft Business Intelligence platform. Timo also played a role as a business intelligence expert, working with internal and external clients to create reporting solutions using tools such as Business Objects Webi, Excel, Power Pivot, and Analysis Services. Timo was responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of complex Business Objects Webi reports, as well as managing changes in the Business Objects Universe. Additionally, they developed reporting concepts on Microsoft BI, Business Objects, and SAS platforms.
In 2017, Timo started working at smart digital GmbH as a Senior Business Intelligent Manager. Their responsibilities included operating, developing, and presenting all relevant corporate KPIs. Timo managed the ETL processes for data capture and transformation, prepared aggregated metrics in Datamarts, and provided accessible data through Tableau dashboards and other interfaces for internal departments and clients.
Timo Platt obtained their education from 1993 to 1997 at the Berufsakademie Stuttgart, where they received a Diploma in Engineering in the field of Informationstechnologie. In addition to their degree, Timo also holds certifications in Six Sigma Green Belt from AT&T, obtained in February 2011. Timo also obtained a certification from Pace University's Network Skill Academy in April 1998. Timo received another certification, Diplom-Ingenieur (BA) Informationstechnik / Projekt-Engineering, from the Berufsakademie Stuttgart in September 1997.
