Ibrahim Abdelaziz has extensive experience in the field of computer vision and artificial intelligence. Ibrahim'smost recent position is as a Computer Vision Scientist at Smart Eye, where they began in February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Computer Vision Research Engineer at precision.ai from November 2020 to January 2022.
Ibrahim also has research experience, having worked as a Researcher at the Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI) from February 2020 to August 2020. Ibrahim was also a Master Thesis Student and Research Assistant at DFKI, where they worked on projects related to 3D hand shape and pose estimation from a single depth map, 3D hand pose estimation using GANs, and implementing custom neural network layers.

Prior to that, they worked as an Algorithms Engineer at Valeo, where they developed internal automation tools and worked on the integration of subsystems for Audi's zFAS project. Ibrahim also worked as a Software Development Intern at Valeo and IBM.
Ibrahim Abdelaziz obtained a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree in Computer Engineering from Cairo University, where they studied from 2011 to 2016. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science (Intelligent Systems) from RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau from 2017 to 2019.
