Alan Lewis

Alan Lewis has a diverse background in the global logistics sector, with experience at Smart Freight Centre, where they hold the positions of Chief Technical Officer, Technical Director, and Director of the Global Logistics Emissions Council (GLEC). Additionally, they serve as a Stakeholder Engagement Adviser for part-time secondment to drive forward the harmonisation process of carbon footprinting methodologies. Alan also runs their own consultancy firm and previously held various roles at Transport & Travel Research Ltd and AEA Technology. They hold a PhD in Materials Science from Corpus Christi College, Cambridge University.
