Heidi Simon

Heidi Simon has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations. Heidi currently works as the Director of Thriving Communities at Smart Growth America since February 2023. Prior to this, they served as the Senior Program Manager at Road to Zero Coalition, National Safety Council from March 2020 to February 2023.

From 2014 to 2020, Heidi worked at America Walks in multiple roles, including Deputy Director from July 2018 to March 2020, Partnerships & Communications Director from January 2017 to July 2018, and Communications & Public Affairs Manager from November 2014 to January 2017.

Before that, they held the position of Program Manager and Founder at The Melete Foundation from February 2010 to November 2014. Additionally, they worked as an Operations Manager at Cohort International from March 2010 to May 2014.

Heidi also worked as an Associate at T&T, Inc. from September 2008 to April 2014 and in the role of Special Programs at U.S.-Qatar Business Council from July 2008 to April 2014.

Other positions that Heidi held include Assistant to the Executive Director at Qatar Foundation International from October 2009 to October 2010, and Programs Consultant at J. William & Harriet Fulbright Center from May 2009 to March 2010.

Heidi Simon completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and International Studies at Loyola University Chicago from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they pursued a Masters degree in Political Management at The George Washington University from 2008 to 2010.
