Ujjal Majumdar

Ujjal Majumdar has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Ujjal started their career in the Indian Navy as a Chief Engineering Artificer, where they oversaw the operation and maintenance of complex engineering systems on naval vessels. Ujjal then moved on to GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare, L.P., where they served as a Team Lead, responsible for overseeing operations and maintenance activities and executing engineering projects.

After that, Ujjal worked at Batra Hospital & Medical Research Centre (BHMRC) as a Chief Engineer, leading and supervising the hospital's engineering department. Ujjal implemented preventive maintenance schedules and evaluated the condition of buildings, utilities, and medical equipment.

Ujjal then joined Jaypee Vasant Continental Hotel as a Chief Engineer, managing and supervising the hotel's engineering department. Ujjal developed preventive maintenance schedules and inspected the property for areas that required repair or improvement.

Currently, Ujjal is the Director and Chief Operations Officer at Smart Joules Pvt. Ltd. Their responsibilities include developing and executing the operational strategy of the company and identifying opportunities for process optimization across various functional areas.

Ujjal Majumdar completed their Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from the Centre of Marine Engineering Technology between 1986 and 1990. Following that, they pursued a degree in Engineering and graduated as a Graduate Engineer from the Indian Naval Academy, Eazhimala, between 1993 and 1997.
