Matt Reid Ceng Mimeche

Matt Reid CEng MIMechE is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in project and engineering management. Currently serving as a Senior Project Manager and Acting Engineering Manager at SMT since November 2021, Matt previously held positions as Project Manager at Carbolite Gero - Heat Treatment and Senior Development Engineer at Ondrives Ltd. With a strong background in testing and development, Matt contributed significantly to R&D initiatives focused on Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH), as well as electric vehicle systems during tenure at SMT, where Matt also worked as a Level 2 Vibration Analyst (BINDT). In addition to engineering roles, Matt took a six-month sabbatical in 2016 as a Chef at Chalet Chardons, winning a TripAdvisor accolade during that time. Matt holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Loughborough University.
