Rupesh Patel is a Senior Software Engineer and Analyst at SMT since January 2016, with extensive experience in software development and engineering research. Prior roles include Engineering Researcher at The University of Nottingham, where Rupesh developed models in MatLab and COMSOL for vibrational energy harvesters, co-supervised students, and managed the ITRC Building. Additional experience encompasses a postdoctoral role at Hiroshima University, where collaboration with Mazda Co. focused on energy harvester configurations, and prior research at The University of Nottingham and practical work in various capacities since 2002. Rupesh holds a Ph.D. and a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nottingham.
