Amr El-Tayeb

Amr El-Tayeb has over 20 years of experience in the medical field. From 1998 to 2009, they worked at Cairo University in various roles, including Professor of NeuroSurgery, Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery, Neurosurgery Consultant, Lecturer of Neurosurgery, Neurosurgery Consultant, Assistant Lecturer, Teaching Assistant, Registrar, and Resident in the Neurosurgery Department. In 2009, they founded and became the Chief Executive Officer of Smart Medical Services, a healthcare services provider with headquarters in Cairo and branches in 10th of Ramadan and Alexandria. Since 2005, they have also served as the Director of Medical Department & Projects for Resala Charity Organization.

Amr El-Tayeb received their Bachelor's Degree in Medicine from Cairo University in 1996. Amr then went on to receive their Master's Degree in General Surgery from Cairo University in 2000. In 2004, they completed their Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) in Neurosurgery from Cairo University. In 2005, they obtained their Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons- England from the Royal Collage of Surgeons of England. Amr then completed a specialized diploma in Health Insurance from the Egyptian Insurance Institute and the Egyptian Insurance Federation in 2013. Most recently, in 2014, they began the Stanford Endeavor Leadership Program at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, focusing on scaling fast growth companies in global markets.
